This is a refreshing summer tea with no caffeine. Makes an interesting change from regular iced tea. Ingredients:
2 stalks lemongrass (about 1 cup sliced) |
3 quarts water |
3/4-1 cup sugar |
12 ice cubes |
Directions:
1. Slice the lemongrass into rings, and place into a pot with the water, leaving enough room to boil. 2. Boil 10-15 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea. 3. Add the sugar to the just boiled water, then pour into a pitcher over Ice Cubes. |
