As easy as pie, but tastier. Ingredients:
4 cups plain flour |
4 teaspoons baking powder |
375 ml sprite |
300 ml cream |
1 1/2 cups dates |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 200°C 2. Place all ingredients in a bowl. Mix until combined. 3. Scrape onto a floured surface. Knead lightly and shape the dough out to about 1 thick. Then cut into squares about 3 to 4 squared. 4. Place on a greased cookie sheet and brush tops with a little milk. 5. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the top is browned. 6. Serve with whatever :). |
