Crispy, just enough tartness, healthy! Entire family loves this chicken! Recipe is from my childhood church cookbook.Very simple to prepare.I will tent foil over top of chicken the first 15 minutes or so of cooking time.Otherwise,it seems to get too brown before chicken is completely cooked. Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts |
1 (8 ounce) can frozen lemonade |
1/2 cup butter, melted |
2 cups corn flakes, crushed |
nonstick cooking spray |
Directions:
1. Pierce chicken breasts (a few times each one) using a fork. 2. Pour undiluted lemonade into heavy zip-lock bag. 3. Place chicken breasts into bag. 4. Allow to sit in refrigerator for at least one hour 5. Spray bottom of 9x13 pan with non-stick cooking spray. 6. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 7. Drain lemonade from chicken. 8. Roll chicken into cornflake crumbs. 9. Place into pan and lightly drizzle melted butter on tops of chicken. 10. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes or until lightly brown. |
