Very refreshing and wonderful for warm summer days. Ingredients:
3 cups cold water |
2/3 cup sugar |
2 stalks lemongrass, chopped |
2 cups lemon juice, freshly squeezed |
1 lemon, sliced |
Directions:
1. Add water and lemon grass to a medium saucepan. 2. Bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. 3. Remove from heat and cover. 4. Let steep for 5 minutes. 5. Strain the mixture to remove lemongrass. 6. Stir in the sugar. 7. Let mixture cool completely. 8. Add steep lemongrass mixture and lemon juice to a large pitcher. 9. Stir to combine. 10. Add ice and lemon slices. 11. Sweeten with more sugar if desired. |
