This cake will fill the house with a tangy aroma scent. Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 cup sugar |
4 eggs |
2/3 cup sour cream |
1 teaspoon lemon zest |
4 tablespoons lemon juice |
2/3 cup vegetable oil |
4 tablespoons powdered sugar |
3 tablespoons lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Sift flour and baking powder with sugar. 2. Whisk eggs, sour cream, lemon rind, lemon juice and oil together. 3. Pour into dry ingredients. 4. Spread in a 8 inch pan and Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes until golden brown. 5. For syrup. 6. combine ingredients and drizzle over cake while still warm. |
