Lemon Syrup Cake

This cake will fill the house with a tangy aroma scent.
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
2/3 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon lemon zest
4 tablespoons lemon juice
2/3 cup vegetable oil
4 tablespoons powdered sugar
3 tablespoons lemon juice
Directions:
1. Sift flour and baking powder with sugar.
2. Whisk eggs, sour cream, lemon rind, lemon juice and oil together.
3. Pour into dry ingredients.
4. Spread in a 8 inch pan and Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes until golden brown.
5. For syrup.
6. combine ingredients and drizzle over cake while still warm.
