Lemon Sauce for Salmon Patties |

A slightly spicy, lemony sauce for salmon patties. Makes enough for about eight salmon patties. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
4 teaspoons all-purpose flour |
3/4 cup milk |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the flour to form a smooth paste. Gradually stir in milk; bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat, and stir in lemon juice, salt, and cayenne pepper. |
