lemony sauce for basting chicken & fish Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or margarine ( butter give it a richer taste) |
1/2 clove garlic ( i use garlic salt) 1/2 tsp or to your tasting |
2 tsp. flour |
1/3 cup water |
3 tbsp>lemon juice |
1-1/2 tsp. sugar |
1 tsp. salt |
1/8 tsp.pepper |
1/8 tsp. poultry seasoning |
1/8 tsp.tabasco |
Directions:
1. Heat butter & garlic in small saucepan over low heat stirring 2. constantly, until butter is melted 3. Blend in flour 4. cook over low heat,stirring until mixture is bubbly 5. Remove from heat 6. Stir in remaining ingedients 7. Heat to boiling stirring constantly 8. Baste chicken or fish during cooking period |
