This came from the Pillsbury Complete Cook Book Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
1 dash salt |
1 cup water |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
2 tablespoons margarine |
2 tablespoons lemon peel |
Directions:
1. In a medium sauce pan combine sugar, corn starch and salt; mix well. Stir in water and mix until well blended. 2. Cook over medium heat for abotu 7 minutes or until mixture has come to a boil and is slightly thickend and clear. Stir constantly. 3. Remove from heat - stir in lemon juice, margarine and lemon peel. Serve immediately. |
