This sounds good and could be served warm or cold with whipped cream.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sago
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 tblps grated lemon rind
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon golden syrup
2 1/2 cups water
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in pan.
2. Stir over low heat till sugar dissolves.
3. bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 20 - 25 minutes.
4. Stir occasionally
5. Sago should be clear and mixture quite thick.
6. Pour into dish, allow to set.
