Make a variety side or main dish. Easy twist to plain rice. Ingredients:
1 cup cooked rice (cook with salt added) |
1 whole lemon or 4 tbsp lemon juice |
3 green chilly slit long |
small piece of ginger finely chopped |
3-4 curry leavesa pich of hing(optional) |
1/4 tsp mustard seeds |
Directions:
1. Keep cooked fluffy rice and mix with a tsp of oil and keep aside to cool. 2. In a Kadia head 1 tsp of oil, put seasoning 1 by 1 - hing,mustard seeds,urid dal, chana dal , ginger,chilly,curry leaves and let splutter. 3. Add lemon juice and tumeric power at end.Salt can be added if not added to rice. 4. Add the mixture to the rice and stirr well. 5. Add fried peanuts if desired. |
