Fragrant rice dish to be served with a good curry! Ingredients:
455 g basmati rice |
5 tablespoons vegetable oil |
2 tablespoons mustard seeds |
6 curry leaves |
2 lemons, juice and zest of |
1 bunch fresh cilantro |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook rice in boiling water for 10 minutes and drain. 2. Heat oil in a small frying pan. 3. Add mustard seeds. 4. When seeds being to pop add curry leaves and lemon zest, cook for 1 minute. 5. Add drained rice, lemon juice and cilantro. 6. Serve piping hot with curry. |
