Great light, tangy salad dressing for field or Boston salad Ingredients:
3 parts red wine vinegar |
1 part olive or vegetable oil |
3-4 tbs sugar |
1-2 tsp red pepper flakes |
1 tsp oregano |
1 dash freshly ground pepper |
1 lemon |
Directions:
1. Dissolve sugar in vinegar; may want to stir with a spoon 2. Add red pepper flakes, oregano and pepper 3. Finely grate or zest half of lemon in dressing;save other half of zest directly on salad 4. Add oil 5. Wisk dressing until creamy in texture 6. Pour all over salad and toss |
