I found this recipe in San Antonio Texas...I have been hooked ever since! Ingredients:
4 -5 potatoes, cleaned and cut in large chunks- leave the skin on |
1 lemons or 3 tablespoons lemon juice |
garlic salt & garlic pepper seasoning |
3 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Clean and cut the potatoes into LARGE cubes- boil in salted water . Potatoes should be firm but a fork should be able to go through them easily. 2. Drain. 3. Add butter and lemon juice. Mix with a fork - don't mash- potatoes should remain chunky. 4. Season with Garlic Salt and Pepper. Start tasting. 5. Add as much lemon and garlic as you want. It's all about the taste! |
