A delicious savory way to serve shrimp off the bbq.....PGG Prep time does not include marination. Ingredients:
1lb fresh or frozen shrimp |
1/3c dry white wine |
1/3c cooking oil |
2t lemon juice |
1t sliced green onions |
1t lemon-pepper seasoning |
Directions:
1. Thaw shrimp if frozen. 2. Remove shells, leaving tails intact. 3. Make a slit down shrimp's back with a sharp knife; scrape off vein under running water. 4. Place shripm in shallow dish. 5. Mix wine, cooking oil, lemon juice, green onion, and lemon-pepper; pour over shrimp. 6. Cover dish; refridgerate 2 to 3 hours, turning occasionally. 7. Drain; reserve marinade. 8. Preheat both sides of grill on HIGH for 10 minutes. 9. Thread shrimp on skewers. 10. Turn both sides of grill to MEDIUM. 11. Place skewers on grids; close hood and cook 10 to 12 minutes, turning once and brushing with marinade. 12. Makes 24 appetizers. |
