Another recipe from the Basic creamy filling That I got out of a weekly ladies magazine....This is great during the summer months... Light and cool.. Ingredients:
2 packages (2.6 oz each) whipped topping mix |
1 cup milk |
1 package (3 oz) lemon jello |
2/3 cup boiling water |
1/2 cup ice cubes |
2 packages soft ladyfingers |
2 teaspoons lemon zest |
4 drops yellow food coloring |
lemon jelly candies |
Directions:
1. At medium high speed beat topping mix and milk until thickened; reserve. 2. Stir jello mix into water until dissloved; stir in ice cubes until dissolved. 3. At medium speed, slowly beat jello mixture into topping mixture until combined. 4. At medium high speed beat until fluffy. 5. Add lemon zest and food coloring; combine into mixture. 6. Coat a 9 inch springform pan with cooking spray. 7. Line pan with split soft ladyfingers, sides and bottom. 8. spoon mixture into springform pan. 9. Cover with plastic; chill for 2 hours or until set. 10. Top with whipped topping and lemon jelly candies. |
