An enticing and aromatic lemony tea blend, for all you lemon lovers out there! May be served either hot, or chilled over ice. Makes a lovely hostess gift, presented in a pretty tin with a ribbon. Ingredients:
1/4 cup dried lemon balm leaves |
2 tablespoons dried lemon thyme leaves |
1/4 cup dried lemon verbena leaf |
1/4 cup dried lemon geranium leaf |
2 tablespoons dried lemongrass, leaves |
1 tablespoon dried lavender blossoms |
honey or sugar, to taste |
fresh lemon slice, to garnish |
ice, to serve |
Directions:
1. Mix all together and use a teaspoon or so per cup of boiling water. 2. Let steep for 3-5 minutes; then strain. 3. Sweeten with honey or sugar, to taste. 4. Garnish with a fresh lemon slice. 5. Serve hot, or chilled over ice. 6. Note: If you are missing any of the lemon herbs, just use more of the ones you do have. |
