Lemon-Lime Daiquiri Layered Dessert |

A real show-stopper of a dessert. Prep time does not include the 3 hours freezing time. Ingredients:
2 cups lemon sherbet or 2 cups lime sherbet, softened |
8 ounces softened cream cheese |
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk |
1/2 cup lime juice or 1/2 cup lemon juice |
1 (8 ounce) container cool whip |
Directions:
1. Line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with foil. 2. Spoon sherbet into prepared pan; spread to form even layer in pan. 3. Freeze 10 minutes. 4. Beat cream cheese in large bowl with wire whisk until creamy. 5. Gradually add sweetened condensed milk and lime juice, beating until well blended. 6. Stir in whipped topping; spread over sherbet layer in pan. 7. Freeze at least 3 hours or overnight. Cut into 12 slices to serve. 8. Store leftover dessert in freezer. |
