Ingredients:
1 pound fresh green beans |
olive oil-flavored vegetable cooking spray |
1/2 teaspoon olive oil |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano |
3 tablespoons water |
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1 tablespoon freshly grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Wash beans; remove ends. Cook in boiling water to cover 5 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain and set aside. 2. Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; add oil. Place over medium-high heat until hot. Add garlic and oregano; cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Add green beans and 3 tablespoons water; bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper; toss well. Transfer to a serving platter; sprinkle with cheese. Serve immediately. |
