Instead of ketchup and mustard, give your french fries or onion rings a flavorful dip into this zingy lemon-herb aioli sauce. Your tastebuds will thank you. Ingredients:
1 clove garlic |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
3/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise |
3 tablespoons fresh parsley |
1 tablespoon fresh mint |
1 tablespoon chives (all minced) |
1 teaspoon lemon zest |
Directions:
1. In a blender, puree 1 clove garlic with 1 Tbsp. lemon juice. Add 3/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise, 3 Tbsp. fresh parsley, 1 Tbsp. fresh mint and 1 Tbsp. chives (all minced); pulse to blend. Fold in 1 tsp. lemon zest. Serve immediately or cover and chill for up to 1 day. |
