I use this sauce in a Singaporean-inspired Grilled Beef in Grape Leaf from chef/owner Chris Yeo of Straits Restarurant. I orginally acquired this recipe from Wine Enthusiast Magazine. Ingredients:
1 ounce lemongrass, chopped |
10 mint leaves |
15 cilantro leaves |
2 ounces garlic |
4 ounces red fresno bell peppers, seeded |
1/4 cup fish sauce |
1/4 cup corn syrup |
3/4 cup lime juice |
1/2 cup distilled vinegar |
1 cup granulated sugar |
Directions:
1. Combine all of the lemongrass sauce ingredients into a blender. Puree the ingredients until the garlic and lemongrass are finely chopped. 2. Serve with Grilled Beef in Grape Leaf which is posted on RecipeZaar. |
