This drink is also decicious when served over ice, in which case you do not need to heat up the juice before mixing it with the tea. Ingredients:
1/2 cup white grape juice or 1/2 cup concord grape juice |
1 1/2 cups lemon-flavored herb tea |
lemon peel, for garnish (optional) |
Directions:
1. Bring the grape juice to a boil in a saucepan over low heat. Stir the tea into the juice and pour this mixture into 2 cups. Garnish with a small slice of lemon peel, if desired. 2. VARIATION: For a Lemon-Apple Tea, substitute 1/2 cup apple juice for the grape juice. Proceed as directed above. |
