What a yummy sweet-hot taste...... brown sugar, lemon, and butter with cayenne! (If you prefer to not go hot, leave out the cayenne.) This is a quick way to have awesome salmon from the grill. Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. brown sugar |
6 tbsp. butter or marg., melted |
3 to 6 tbsp. lemon juice |
2 1/4 tsp. dill weed |
3/4 tsp. cayenne pepper |
1 salmon fillet (about 2 pounds) |
lemon-pepper seasoning |
Directions:
1. Small bowl- Combine first 5 ingredients; mix well. 2. Remove 1/2 c. to saucepan; simmer until heated through. 3. Set aside remaining for basting. 4. ____________________ 5. Sprinkle salmon with lemon pepper. 6. Place on grill with skin side down. 7. Grill covered, medium heat, 5 mins. 8. Brush with reserved brown sugar mixture. 9. Grill 10-15 mins. longer, basting occasionally. 10. ____________________ 11. Serve with warm sauce. |
