Ingredients:
1 jar(s) 10 oz. pimento stuffed olives undrainded |
4 sprig(s) fresh oregano |
3 clove(s) fresh garlic pressed |
2 lemon slices |
10 black peppercorns |
3 tablespoon(s) lemon juice |
Directions:
1. >Drain olives, reserving liquid. 2. >Layer half each of olives, oregano, garlic, lemon slices, and peppercorns in olive jar; repeat layers. 3. >Pour 3 T. lemon juice into the olive jar: add just enough of the reserved olive liquid to fill the jar. Screw lid on jar. 4. >Chill olive mixture at least 8 hours. Store in refrigerator up to 2 weeks. 5. >Yield: about 32 appetizer servings. |
