I made this last night. Very lemony and very good. Served with fresh green beans and Rice-A-Roni fried rice. Ingredients:
4 boneless chicken breasts |
1/4 cup flour |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 (2 ounce) package savory herb with garlic soup mix |
1 3/4 cups water |
3 tablespoons lemon juice, from fresh lemons |
Directions:
1. Dip chicken in flour, shake off excess. 2. In a non-stick skillet, over med.-high heat, melt butter. 3. Brown chicken about 4 minutes on each side. 4. Mix soup mix, water and lemon juice and pour over chicken breast. 5. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for about 5-10 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened and chicken is thoroughly cooked. 6. Serve with hot cooked rice, if desired. |
