These bread slices are deliciously different with a hint of lemon.Adeline Piscitelli, Sayreville, New Jersey Ingredients:
1 loaf (1 pound) french bread |
1/2 cup butter, melted |
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese |
4 teaspoons lemon juice |
1 tablespoon grated lemon peel |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Cut bread diagonally into 1-in. slices. Combine the remaining ingredients; brush over cut sides of bread. Wrap loaf in foil. Bake at 400° for 15-20 minutes or until heated through. Yield: 8-10 servings. |
