From a smoothie/punch cookbook. Ingredients:
10 lemons, juice of (2 cups) |
3/4 cup sugar |
4 cups water |
1 (2 liter) bottle ginger ale, chilled |
1 pint lemon sherbet, or |
1 pint vanilla frozen yogurt |
lemon, half-cartweel slices |
fresh mint leaves |
Directions:
1. Combine lemon juice and sugar; stir to dissolve sugar. Add water; chill. 2. To serve, in large punch bowl, combine lemon mixture and ginger ale. Add small scoops of sherbert, lemon slices and mint. |
