This is delicious..!!terrific on angel food cake Ingredients:
2 large eggs |
3/4 cup granulated sugar |
2 tablespoons butter |
1/2 cup lemon juice |
1 tablespoon lemon zest |
Directions:
1. In top of double boiler, beat eggs and sugar, stir in butter, lemon juice and lemon zest -
2. Cook over simmering water for 10-12 minutes or until mixture reaches 160*.
3. and is thick enough to coat the back of the spoon.
4. Refrigerate for up to one week.
