Serve over bread puddings, cake, ice cream, fruit cups, etc. Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter |
2/3 cup sugar |
1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch |
3/4 cup water |
2 tablespoons lemon juice or 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel |
Directions:
1. Microwave butter for 20-30 seconds on High in a 1-qt. microwave-safe bowl. 2. Combine sugar and cornstarch. 3. Add to butter. 4. Stir in water, lemon juice and peel. 5. Microwave for 2-3 minutes on High, until boiling, stirring once serve warm. |
