From my collection of handwritten recipes 1970-1984. Ingredients:
3 lbs chicken, cut up |
1/4 cup mayonnaise |
salt and pepper |
paprika |
3/4 cup applesauce |
1/2 cup golden raisin |
1/4 cup lemon juice |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel |
1 teaspoon salt |
3/4 cup mayonnaise |
Directions:
1. Brush a 3 lb. broiler-fryer with 1/4 cup mayonnaise. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Bake in 425* oven 45 minutes or until fork tender. Heat remaining ingredients over low heat in a saucepan. Beat in 3/4 cup of mayonnaise; serve over chicken. |
