1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves |
1 lb chicken piece |
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 cup uncooked rice |
1/3 cup lemon juice |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix all of the spices & lemon juice in a 1-gallon bag, add chicken pieces, & freeze. 2. To prepare, thaw bag of chicken, preheat trusty oven to 450 degrees. 3. Arrange chicken skin-side down in an 8x8x2-inch bakind dish treated with nonstick spray. 4. Pour liquid over chicken. 5. Bake for 20 minutes. 6. Turn chicken over & baste. 7. Bake for an extra 15 to 20 minutes. 8. Prepare rice according to package directions. 9. Serve chicken over rice. 10. Enjoy the Lemon Chicken (Oamc) recipe. |
