Whats not to like !!!!! lemon and cheesecake... yummm....... courtesy California best of the best Ingredients:
5- tablespoons butter , softened |
1/2- cup brown sugar |
1/2- cup chopped nuts |
1- cup flour |
1/2 - cup granulated sugar |
1 ( 8 ounce ) package of cream cheese |
1- egg |
2- tablespoons milk |
1- tablespoon lemon juice |
1- tablepoon grated lemon peel |
1/4- teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees f. 2. spray an 8 inch square pan or an 9x13 pan with non stick cooking spray 3. cream butter and brown sugar 4. add the nuts and flour and mix thoroughly....... 5. set aside 1 cup of the mixture for the topping ......... 6. press the remainder in the pan 7. bake 12- 15 minutes or until golden brown... 8. blend sugar and cream cheese until smooth. 9. add the egg, milk lemon peel, lemon juice and the vanilla 10. beat well 11. spread over baked crust 12. sprinkle with the remainder topping 13. return to the oven and bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes 14. cool 15. cut into bars depending on size.......will yield 30 - 48 bars |
