I tried out this adopted recipe today, and must say the results were disappointing. I have to admit, the lack of detailed instructions, and any provision for leavening made me suspect it from the start. I added some baking powder to the rest of the batter and am trying again. I would not recommend this unless you are feeling very adventuresome. I do hope to get it right and repost the recipe with a picture some day. Ingredients:
350 g eggs |
80 g egg yolks |
350 g powdered sugar |
5 g salt |
250 g flour |
80 g oil |
70 g butter |
50 g skim milk |
1/2 cup lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Sift together dry ingredients. 2. Gradually blend in wet ingredients until combined. 3. Bake in little lemon shaped molds at 350 for 20 min until set. 4. Let cool. |
