This recipe comes from my husbands dear Aunt Nora. Ingredients:
1/2 lb butter |
2 cups sugar |
4 eggs |
3 cups flour |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
15 ounces lemon pie filling |
Directions:
1. Mix together butter and sugar until well blended. 2. Add eggs (one-at-a-time), vanilla, flour and baking powder. 3. Put 3/4's of the batter into a greased 13 x 9 pan. 4. Top with 1/3 of the filling. 5. Add remaining batter. 6. Then rest of filling. 7. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. |
