Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
2 cups water |
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley |
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat; add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add water; cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, 20 minutes or until thickened and bubbly. Stir in parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. |
