Ingredients:
2 cups butter, softened |
1 cup powdered sugar |
3 cups all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon lemon extract |
1 teaspoon grated lemon rind (optional) |
Directions:
1. Beat butter until creamy; gradually add powdered sugar, beating well. Add flour, 1 cup at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in extract and, if desired, rind. 2. Form dough into desired shapes using a cookie press, and place onto parchment paper-lined baking sheets. 3. Bake at 325° for 12 to 15 minutes per batch. Cool on wire racks. |
