These are my favorite lemon bars. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour |
2/3 cup powdered sugar |
3/4 cup butter, softened |
3 eggs, lightly beaten |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
3 tablespoons flour |
1/2 cup lemon juice |
additional powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. In a shallow bowl, combine first three ingredients; Pat into a greased 13x9 pan. 2. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. 3. Meanwhile, whisk in a bowl the eggs, sugar, 3 tablespoons flour and lemon juice until frothy; pour over hot crust. 4. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until light golden brown. 5. Cool on a wire rack. 6. Dust with additional powdered sugar if desired. |
