This three-ingredient recipe is the easiest way to grill asparagus. Wrapping the stalks in foil allows for quick cooking and easy transfer on and off the grill. Ingredients:
1/2 pound asparagus |
2 teaspoons reduced-calorie margarine |
1/4 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning |
Directions:
1. Snap off tough ends of 1/2 pound asparagus; place asparagus on a square of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Spoon 2 teaspoons reduced-calorie margarine over asparagus, and sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning. Fold aluminum foil tightly to seal. Place on grill rack, and grill over medium-hot coals 10 minutes. |
