This is an interesting recipe. The addition of lemon and ginger makes this an incredibl recipe. Easy on preparation, great on taste.
Ingredients:
30 ounces canned baked beans
1 medium white onion sliced thin
1 fresh lemon sliced thin
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon ginger
Directions:
1. Pour beans in a frying pan and stir in the brown sugar and ginger.
2. Layer the onion and lemon slices randomly all over the top.
3. Cover and simmer gently for 30 minutes then stir in ginger and serve.
