Uses leftover rice and is egg-free. Inspired From a community cookbook. Ingredients:
2 cups rice, cooked |
3 cups milk |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg, to taste |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1/2 cup raisins |
1 teaspoon cinnamon (to taste) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. 2. Heat over medium-high and stir often until milk and rice thicken, about 20 minutes or so. 3. Put into dessert cups and chill until ready to eat. |
