Leftover Halloween Candy Cookies |

This is a cookie made with chopped up leftover halloween candy. If you have any leftovers :). Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup shortening |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
2 eggs |
2 tsp vanilla |
1 tsp salt |
1 tsp baking soda |
1 and 1/3 cups flour |
2 cups of quick oats |
2 cups of chopped up halloween candy probably best to stick to the chocolate varieties, we used kitkats,butterfingers, reeses m&ms and peanut m &ms. |
Directions:
1. Cream together sugars, butter and shortening 2. add in eggs and vanilla 3. mix together dry ingredients 4. add into mix 5. stir in candy 6. drop by tablespoon full onto ungreased cookie sheet 7. bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes 8. Warning they kind of break easily but everyone knows cookie pieces are calorie free :). |
