I MADE MY TURKEY THE WEEK AFTER THANKSGIVING-AND MADE THIS SOUP THE FOLLOWING DAY. IT IS ALMOST TOO EASY - ENJOY! Ingredients:
1 quart of turkey drippings-(strained)-saved from roasting turkey(of course) |
2 10 oz cans of condensed cream of chicken soup |
some leftover turkey - cut in bite size chunks |
1 12 oz bag of noodles |
Directions:
1. BOIL WATER TO COOK NOODLES 2. IN THE MEAN TIME HEAT TURKEY DRIPPINGS 3. ADD 2 CANS OF CREAM OF CHICKEN SOUP(UNDILUTED) 4. HEAT THROUGH 5. ADD CUT UP TURKEY 6. TURN HEAT TO LOW 7. COOK NOODLES ABOUT 6-8 MINUTES 8. DRAIN NOODLES 9. ADD TURKEY/SOUP MIXTURE TO NOODLES 10. STIR WELL AND SERVE 11. SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE |
