I HOPE NOBODY GETS TIRED OF MY CAKES!THIS ONE IS JUST BECAUSE THESE WERE THE INGREDIENTS I HAD IN THE HOUSE!IT WAS SUPRISINGLY GOOD!ENJOY! Ingredients:
1 box chocolate cake mix(18 oz.) |
1 20 oz can crushed pineapple(undrained) |
1/2 cup raisins |
1 tub of cream cheese frosting |
Directions:
1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 2. PLACE RAISINS IN SMALL SAUCE PAN ADD WATER - JUST ENOUGH TO COVER RAISINS - HEAT FOR ABOUT 3 MINUTES ON MEDIUM HEAT JUST ENOUGH TO SOFTEN-LET COOL FOR ABOUT FIVE MINUTES. 3. IN LARGE BOWL COMBINE CAKE MIX - UNDRAINED CRUSHED PINEAPPLE - ALSO ADD RAISINS WITH LIQUID(RAISIN JUICE) 4. MIX ALL TOGETHER(MIXTURE SHOULD BE THICK AND VERY MOIST) 5. POUR INTO GREASED 9x13 BAKING PAN - SPREAD OUT EVENLY! 6. BAKE FOR ABOUT 35 MINUTES 7. TEST WITH TOOTHPICK IN CENTER - SHOULD COME OUT CLEAN 8. LET COOL ON COUNTER FOR ABOUT AN HOUR 9. FROST WITH CREAM CHEESE FROSTING 10. I ALWAYS REFRIDGERATE MY CAKES - THEY JUST STAY FRESHER LONGER! 11. DIG IN! |
