I grew up with mom making this cake and it's so moist and delicious. Recipe must be at least 50 years old. Ingredients:
1/3 cup milk |
1 tablespoon margarine |
1 cup sugar |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 pinch salt |
1 cup sifted flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
Directions:
1. Bring milk and marg. just to a boil and let cool. 2. Mix sugar, eggs and vanilla. 3. Add milk and marg. mix. 4. Sift flour and measure out a cup. 5. Add salt, flour and Baking Powder. 6. 350* oven 7. greased 8x8 pan. 8. Bake for 30 minutes. 9. This is great with hard sauce. |
