Layered Summertime Salad

I sometimes use mini penne if I can't find gemelli. Any short cut pasta will do. You can substitute any veggies you like. Number of servings is a guess. I served it as a salad at a wedding shower and easily fed 12 people with a few leftovers.
Ingredients:
2 cups gemelli pasta, uncooked
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup green onion, sliced
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
4 cups romaine lettuce, torn
1 cup fresh snow pea
1 cup cauliflower, fresh
1 cup fresh broccoli
1 large red pepper, chopped
1/2 cup swiss cheese, shredded
Directions:
1. Cook the pasta, then drain and rinse under cold running water.
2. Combine the mayo, lemon juice, sugar, and garlic powder for the dressing.
3. Mix the pasta, green onions, and 1/2 of the bacon together.
4. Layer 1/2 of the romaine, 1/2 of the pasta mix, 1/2 of the veggies 1/2 of the dressing, and 1/2 of the cheese.
5. Repeat layers.
6. Top with remaining bacon.
7. Chill until ready to serve.
