I don't usually submit recipes that I haven't made or aren't mine, but this looked really good to me and thought I would share it. It's from June's issue of Cuisine at Home. (The pic is from their magazine) Ingredients:
3 oranges, peeled and sliced |
3 tbsp. chopped toasted almonds |
3 tbsp. halved manzanila (or other green) olives |
2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley |
1 tbsp. sherry vinegar or white wine vinegar |
1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil |
1 tbsp. honey |
1 tbsp. minced red onion |
Directions:
1. Layer orange slices on a platter in rows 2. Toss together almonds olives, parsley, vinegar, honey, olive oil and onion in a bowl 3. Spoon over oranges 4. How simple can this be?! |
