Make each layer smaller than the last on a large platter to really show it off! (The idea is decreasing concentric circles.) Serve with tortilla chips. Ingredients:
16 ounces refried beans |
4 ounces chopped green chilies, drained |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon cumin |
2 ripe avocados, mashed |
1/4 cup onion, minced |
2 teaspoons lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon sugar |
1/2 teaspoon celery salt |
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1 cup salsa |
1 cup sour cream |
1 cup miracle whip |
2 teaspoons paprika |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce |
1/4 teaspoon cilantro |
1/4 cup onion, minced |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon cumin |
1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded |
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
16 ounces cream cheese |
1 cup salsa |
1 tomato, seeded and chopped |
3 green onions, sliced thin |
Directions:
1. Mix layer 1 and spread evenly on a 14-16 inch platter with slight sides. 2. Mix layer 2 and spread to within an inch of layer 1. 3. Mix layer 3 and repeat. 4. Mix the cheeses and repeat. 5. Beat the layer 5 ingredients with an electric mixer until smooth and spread over cheese. 6. Sprinkle tomato and green onion all over and serve your masterpiece! |
