Layered Banana Pineapple Dessert |

This recipe came from a magazine several years ago. Prep time is quick but it must be chilled for at least three hours. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/3 cup margarine, melted |
3 bananas, sliced |
8 oz cream cheese, softened |
3 1/2 cups cold milk |
2 pkg (4-serving size) vanilla instant pudding |
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained |
8 oz thawed whipped topping |
Directions:
1. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar and margarine and press firmly into 13x9-inch pan. 2. Arrange banana slices over crust. 3. Beat cream cheese in a large bowl with a wire whisk until smooth. 4. Gradually beat in milk. 5. Add pudding mixes. 6. Beat until well blended. 7. Spread evenly over banana slices. 8. Spoon pineapple evenly over pudding mixture. 9. Spread whipped topping over pineapple. 10. Chill for at least three hours. |
