We wanted Lasagna that wasn't full of fat and salt, this is what we came up with. Ingredients:
1 1/4 lb 96/4 ground beef |
375 g healthy harvest lasagna noodle |
8 oz reduced fat mozzarella |
15 oz fat free ricotta cheese |
6 oz hunts tomato paste |
8 oz water |
2 tbsp italian seasoning |
Directions:
1. Make like the real deal, but no oil coating in the pan.. use pam. 2. Mix the tomato paste and water, and cook it stovetop with the itialian seasoning to make your sauce to use between layers. We choose to use paste since it is lower sodium then most of the sauces. 3. You can use egg beaters in the Ricotta and add garlic to taste, but don't forget to add the calories ;) |
