1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened |
3/4 cup brown sugar |
1 1/8 cups white sugar |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1/2 banana |
1/2 cup peanut butter |
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 1/4 cups rolled oats |
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in the vanilla, bananas and peanut butter. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; gradually stir into the creamed mixture. Finally, stir in the rolled oats and chocolate chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto an unprepared cookie sheet. 3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. |
