Last Minute Cheddar Chicken and Noodles |

This one was clipped from the back of the bag of Skinner Egg Noodles. It's good for an easy, one-pan meal the whole family will enjoy. Prep time includes chopping the chicken. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
3/4 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into 1 inch chunks |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chicken broth |
4 1/2 cups egg noodles, uncooked (6oz.) |
16 ounces favorite frozen mixed vegetables |
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. In 5-quart saucepan over medium heat, heat oil. 2. Sprinkle chicken with garlic powder; cook in oil until no longer pink, about 5 minutes, turning occasionally. 3. Add broth; heat to boiling. 4. Add uncooked noodles and frozen vegetables, stirring to coat noodles with liquid. 5. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. 6. Cover; simmer 10 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring every 2 minutes. 7. Remove from heat, stir in cheese until melted. |
